What’s the best way to know if the products or services you’re offering are perceived positively by your customers, if not with the help of their feedback? Once people realize how important feedback is for their businesses, everything will change. Feedback is your best guide, and now, with the help of the internet and different platforms, all this can be available with just a few clicks. Now, how to use such pieces of information to improve your services or products? Well, that’s what we’re going to talk about!

Include all forms of feedback!

Remember to collect and evaluate all pieces of digital feedback, as these can be found on many different platforms. Where to look for them?

  • Social media platforms: If your business is on social media, then this is the easiest way for your customers to leave you feedback. Check this regularly, if possible, thank your customers for feedback, as they might find this a great sign of mutual connection. Make sure to read the comments, and encourage your customers to never hesitate to write feedback, whether positive or negative. This way, they know they can be honest with you.
  • Website feedback: Always make some space for customers’ feedback on your website, as this leaves an impression that you value their opinion and strive to meet their needs.
  • E-mail feedback: In many cases, when they don’t know where to leave feedback, customers turn to e-mails. Check your e-mails regularly, and if possible, categorize them to find them more easily the next time.

Once you have done that, make sure to divide them based on what they refer to: product quality, problems with using them, or general comments about how they like a certain product.

Follow whether multiple customers mention a certain issue

If certain issues are repeated, then that might be a bigger problem. Such problems should be your priority, as they can result in many customers being unsatisfied with your products or services. This is probably one of the best ways to rate the urgency of your problems and what to deal with first. This can be a good guide, first solving the problems many customers deal with, and ensuring satisfactory use.

Use digital analytics tools

Checking and categorizing all that feedback can be extremely challenging, and it might not be as accurate as using some analytics tools. How to use them for this purpose?

With the help of AI, analytics tools have reached a new level. What you need to know is that such Digital Analytics Software uses the benefits of AI to ensure feedback collection and categorization. Such software is programmed in a way that it follows customers’ activity and what they struggle with, with the aim of giving you a chance to solve it. This is the best way to know what you have to improve. And when it comes to choosing the right professionals for such tools, use the benefits of feedback as well! Check what their previous customers say about them and check their rating.

Identify the root of their potential problems

Sometimes, even when having all the information you need, you don’t know what exactly to do to solve your customers’ problems. Use the previously mentioned tools to gather all the information, and know exactly what to pay attention to. For example:

The problem: A customer spends more time looking for what they need than expected.

The solution: A better categorization of your products.

The problem: A customer is skeptical about what size to get. (If you’re selling products.)

The solution: Include an accurate size chart to make it easier for them to know exactly what size to get. This can be a small detail that can show them how seriously you take your business and their satisfaction.

Now, this seems like it’s too easy; however, people sometimes make it even more complicated while trying to solve such problems.

Work as a team

Dealing with occurring problems and ensuring customer satisfaction requires much time and work, and it can be done much more easily as a team. You should divide into smaller groups, each group having a different part of the job.

  • What’s the problem? Why are the customers unsatisfied with your services? At the beginning, you need to determine a clear problem. For example, what exactly is happening for the customers to be unsatisfied?
  • Who exactly is affected? Not everyone has the same problems; for example, men can find what they want more easily, as the products designed for them are categorized better. This group will determine the group of customers that’s affected the most.
  • Why is it important to solve this problem? Of course, every problem your customers come across should be solved as soon as possible; however, you need to understand whether it’s a serious problem and whether it requires instant action. Discuss how exactly solving this problem helps your business.

Is the problem solved?

Don’t forget to check whether the problem is solved or not. Check how everything’s working, and monitor how the users react to this problem being solved. In some cases, solving one problem for one group of customers can mean creating a problem for another group. This is why constant monitoring is crucial in any type of business, because following how your customers react and enjoy your business is what makes you stand out from the rest of the similarly related businesses. Also, this way, you’ll solve all the problems much quicker and won’t experience any bigger issues, saving your business from unnecessary threats.

Feedback can become your greatest friend; you just have to learn how to use it to improve your services or your products. This way, you create stronger connections with your customers and, at the same time, improve your business to the point where every problem your customer points out to you is solved as quickly as possible. These two can be closely related, so make sure to encourage your customers to provide feedback, use it to your advantage, and stand out from all other businesses.
